Mobile video chats have now been enhanced with the release of Skype screen sharing, which has come to both iOS and Android devices. The feature was previously only available on desktops but developers have now finished the beta testing process.
This new feature could enhance a number of different ways in which people use mobile video chats: a work video call can now feature slides and presentation materials, and those on social calls can now scroll through images together on video.
Users can find the new Skype screen sharing function under the newly added section in the app, where other new functions, such as call recording and subtitles are also available. The mobile screen sharing function will work on Android 6.0 and later devices, as well as on iOs 12 and later versions.
