Minimalism and contemporary detailing meet in the exquisite design of these Silk Chairs by Javier Moreno Studio. An intriguing relationship exists between the rigid lines of the pieces' structures and the way that the metal frameworks curve at the corners and form organic connections to their web-like inner cradles.
These divine latticed dining chairs were inspired by silkworm cocoons. In the place of a cushion and a backrest is instead a tangled stringy bassinet made from a spindly carbon fiber. The criss-crossing threads provide total support and comfort for the sitter and offer a haphazard yet crisp-looking natural texture within the clean contours of the legs and perch perimeter.
