Two new variations of the Sidewinder Knife arrive from Chen Chen & Kai Williams made in collaboration with Craighill. The two include the Sidewinder Mini and the Sidewinder Deluxe. It is inspired by the path in which the Sidewinder Snake travels as it launches its head sideways throughout the sandy environments it lives in.
This path blended with the diamond emblems by parallel rulers is created by designer Kai Williams. The mechanism is ensured to be ultra smooth as it has eight ball bearings integrated. The co-founder of Craighill, Zach Fried shares his perspective of seeing the first prototype, “It does something that’s unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. It felt like seeing an invention.”
