The Side Table

I love furniture designs that are creatively made without the use of hardware or screws. The Side Table by designer Karl Zahn is handcrafted from 3/4" sustainable pine with no hardware used in the fabrication process.
The inspiration behind the Side Table was to invent a piece of furniture that would offer a convenient spot next to the door to put keys and other important things, which was the reason for integrating a drawer in the design itself. The drawer is always slightly open to allow the input of the material without having to open the whole drawer.
You can adjust the opening to suit your liking and the entire piece can be easily disassembled for cleaning or organizing if it gets too messy inside.
The Side Table has dimensions of 30" tall x 12.25" x 20" to 30" long and sells for $620. It was recently featured along with other pieces from Zahn's Simple Series at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair. See the above video for an introduction by the designer himself at the fair.
