The Shwood Recovery Initiative was started as a way to help those citizens in the United States who were affected by the grueling Hurricane Sandy storm.
Shwood created a Santos Mahogany version of its Canby wood sunglasses as a limited edition charitable purchase. All the proceeds received from the purchase of this pair of UV shielding shades will go directly to the American Red Cross. The glasses are tastefully square with a deep rose wooden frame. On the side the Latin phrase "E Pluribus Unum" is engraved, which translates to "many uniting as one," according to the Shwood website.
If you find that you need a new pair of shades, pick up the ones the Shwood Recovery Initiative is offering to help all those that were harmed by the storm.
