The Shanghai Corporate Pavilion Nears Completion (UPDATE)
Meghan Young — April 10, 2010 — Eco
Last year Trend Hunter Brian Randles brought our attention to the Shanghai Corporate Pavilion concept design and now I'd like to inform you that the real deal is almost finished--just in time for the Shanghai World Expo! A fantastic eco-friendly feat, it is made of recycled CD jewel cases that were transformed into LED light tubes.
The gallery above shows the construction progress of the Shanghai Corporate Pavilion almost from the beginning. The LED lights are computer-controlled, allowing it to be changed on a whim. Pretty neat, right?
