Korean EveR1 and R2

Another female android story…
Aptly named after the first woman on earth, these robots are called EveR-1 and 2 after Eve and R (short for Robot.) The EveR-1 was created to entertain and educate, as pictured here with a class of children. It is said she can comprehend 400 Korean and English words and converse in basic terms.
The EveR-2 is constructed to be a muse. She is a second generation entertainer who will sing a Korean ballade and close her eyes for you (what ever that means.) And, whereas the first model only comes sitting down, this model walks!
Both robots are build by the Korean institute for industrial technology.
On DesignBoom you can catch up on the full history of female robots.
