BAK Arquitectos uses its signature minimalist aesthetic, bolstered by concrete and glass materials, for the V+D set of houses, located in Mar Azul, Argentina.
The set is comprised of four houses situated on two separate plots, all of which are available for rent throughout the year. Though the units are separate, they share a pool, solarium and storage space.
The interior of each home is informed by its exterior. More specifically, the concrete palette continues inside, with everything except the couches, chairs and beds, fashioned from it. Pine boards are strategically placed within the home, providing a warm contrast to the cool stone. The result is a series of homes that are hopelessly modern in their design, yet very livable.
