Yohji Yamamoto's Paris Runway

This seems to be the season of unlikely runway models.
Recently, Vivienne Westwood caused an uproar when she sent out beefy, tough-looking Roma gypsies on the Milan catwalks to model her 2009 menswear.
Now, Paris-based Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto opened the four day men's fashion show in Paris with a cast of well-over-60 male models who sauntered onto the runway rocking Yamamoto's Spring 2009 menswear collection.
Among the models was artist-turned film-maker Steve McQueen who just won a prize at the Cannes Film Festival.
I say, good for them! This should have been done a long time ago.
