Seiko Presage unveils an enchanting addition to its Craftsmanship Series, drawing inspiration from Studio Ghibli's iconic anime masterpiece, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind. The new watch design features round and curved elements inspired by the tools wielded by the film's protagonist, Nausicaä, and also boasts coloring inspired by the movie's palette.
Crafted with blue crystal glass reminiscent of the Ohms' eyes, the uniquely shaped crown adds a personal and luxurious touch to the timepiece. Similarly, the strap features an Ohm decoration, harmonizing with the overall theme of the watch.
Set to launch in March 2024, the limited-edition SPB437 will be exclusively available at Seiko Boutiques and select retail partners worldwide. This variant is marketed as an exclusive release, making it ideal for Studio Ghibli collectors and enthusiasts. Only 1,500 watch units were produced.
