The Seagate Backup Plus Hard Drive Unveils a Thin Design at CES 2016

There's something of a divide in the consumer market between those looking to transfer everything to the cloud and those who still want physical storage, so the Seagate Backup Plus Hard Drive is here to satisfy both.
Aside from offering 2TBs of onboard storage, the Seagate Backup Plus Hard Drive also comes backed with a two year subscription for up to 200GBs of cloud storage. The impossibly thin and light design is arguably the smallest available on the consumer market, which it is set to debut sometime early this year.
Speaking on the release, Seagate Consumer Group Vice President Tim Butcher explains, "The launch of the Backup Plus Ultra Slim builds on Seagate’s rich history of award-winning innovation to give users even more capacity in an incredibly small form factor. Based on our breakthrough ultra-mobile hard drive technology, this new storage solution gives them a better way to manage the increase in both data volumes and number of devices."
