Sam Haggerty is a part of the ever-awesome Mutoid Waste Company--the guys behind Mutate Britain--and his elegantly twisted machinations have been exhibited all over the world. Among the collectors of his work include the Royal Academy of Art.
Bone, leather, glass fiber and rusting steel form the components of his unique vision; Haggerty's works are equally at home inside or outside and range from 5kg to 1,500kg in weight.
Haggerty's style of sculpture walks a line somewhere between humor and the macabre. Of course, it's right up my street! Good work Sam, and see you at the festivals this year!
