‘Scuba Doo' and ‘Cat in Diving Boots'
With puns like “Scuba Doo” and “Cat in Diving Boots,” I had to write this up. Believe it or not, we’ve featured a four-legged wet suit before. I would consider this along the same theme as tattooing pets; it’s very entertaining for the owner, yet horrible for the pets.
The cat featured here is named Hawkeye and has made quite a splash online. She has been seen going a doggie paddle and has accompanied a dog named Mutley on diving trips.
Gene Alba designed the diving gear for his pets so they could join him for up to seven minutes under water.
Apparently the cat just hangs there, but Mutley charges about, barking and chasing fish!
