‘Wanting to Be You’ is the title an unusual suit. I guess it is more like an artistic machine that allows a hardcore fan of some star or celebrity to stand out in the crowd at film premieres and red carpet events.
The suit is comprised of a projector, speakers and a light system, which is controlled by a media player. The suits starts to send hysterical screams into the air when the fan (read: target) approaches. Needless to say, it attracts much more attention than the normal crowd of fans. The media player then starts to project self-confessed messages to the star to get their attention. Wow, and it apparently continues until it bursts into a climatic display of emotions.
The suit was created by a student called Ross Cairns and exhibited at the Royal College of Art, London a few weeks ago.
