When I first took in Scott Amron's Heatswell coffee cup prototype, I thought that is was an interesting idea that must be inconceivably expensive to produce. Boy was I wrong. In fact, you may not believe it after watching the video, but it's actually cheaper than existing coffee cups and sleeves out there today.
The Scott Amron's Heatswell is ingenious beyond its price point, however. It essentially features a built-in coffee sleeve that reacts to heat, bloating up to protect your hands from burning. Pretty neat, right?
