The Scosche Rhythm+ is an updated and upgraded version of the Rhythm armband heart rate monitor, and is both easier to use and less expensive than its predecessor.
The $79.99 Scosche Rhythm+ is attached your wrist, and monitors your heart rate. Heart rate monitoring is performed via a special biometric sensor. It then sends data of interest wirelessly to your smartphone or tablet, where it is converted into information and feedback that is easy to digest.
The Rhythm+ wristband has a battery life of up to eight hours, beating out its predecessor by two hours. It is also sweat-proof and waterproof up to a depth of 1 meter.
The device is compatible with iOS as well as Android devices, and is capable of using either Bluetooth 4.0 or ANT+ to connect to a range of up to 100 feet.
