Pechkeks has created sarcastic fortune cookies that are filled with 'misfortunes' as opposed to traditional Chinese fortune cookies sharing love and wisdom. These sarcastic fortune cookies are not for the faint of heart. Some of the messages read quite mean messages such as "Things will get better. Sometime. Maybe." and "Life is a symphony -- and you're playing the kazoo".
However, it's all in good fun because the German-based company is just trying to add a quirky spin on a common cookie. Each cookie is individually packaged with the use of cartoon-inspired black cats and ragged teddy bears.
The brand uses all-black labels with black cookies and even the paper inside the cookies is black with white writing. Using a spooky-inspired typography Pecheks has their name, "Misfortune Cookies" and the phrase "it bites back!" on each package.
