These Luxx Mirrors by Samuel Accoceberry embody a neo-futuristic design concept. The multi-dimensional reflectors are reminiscent of abstract architecture pieces or sculptural pieces of art that play with their user’s perception.
When creating his Op art inspired home accessories, designer Samuel Accoceberry paid tribute to the Italian Radical Architecture movement that ‘rewrites urban city codes under ideal and utopian forms’.
Accoceberry’s creations layer cubed forms together to create illusionary décor pieces that reflect light with their polished steel materials. The pieces are treated in gold, copper and night finishes and later assembled into a 3D structure that is both sculptural and purposefully designed in its concept.
Playing with scale, the mirrors transform a flat surface into a sculptural relief and will be showcased at Maison&Objet 2014 Paris.
