Samsung recently unveiled the Samsung Smart Home service, which lets users automate and control their homes using a smartphone app.
Users can add compatible devices and appliances to their home network using the Samsung Smart Home app and manage them via the app's interface. For example, users can control their TV from their couch without a remote control, switch off the heating from the office to save energy or turn on the lights for security while abroad on vacation.
Users will even be able to control multiple devices simultaneously by connecting one device to other related devices. For example, a user can program the Samsung Smart Home in such a way that they can say 'Good Night' to their TV remote control and switch off the TV as well as the lights and air conditioners in the living room.
