Staples recently announced a partnership with Instacart in order to create a same-day delivery service, where consumers can make purchases from Staples using the Instacart app. The Same-day delivery service will be 1,000 available at locations across the united states. When an order is placed it will automatically be fulfilled at the closest Staples location, and customers will event be able e to use their Staples Rewards number.
Chris Rogers, the vice president of retail at Instascart, spoke about the partnership as a response to COVID-19, "With home now serving as both a workplace and school for so many families across America, we're proud to work with Staples to make it easier to adapt to this new normal and bring Staples' wide variety of office supplies directly from the local store to the customer's door."
