The ROMA laptop is poised as the world's first development-focused laptop computer. XCalibyte confirmed that the ROMA will be a RISC-V-based computer, meaning it will be optimized for Linux operating systems, rather than Windows OS. One notable aspect of the ROMA is its inclusion of an NPU and a GPU, which will accelerate the development of AI-powered workloads and AI-related development projects.
