'Rollenbilder (role model)' by Julia Hartig is definitely an interesting take on the traditional family photographs. The family featured changes places for each frame and looks increasingly uncomfortable as the images continue.
As awkward as these images are, I can't help but love them. The Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman poster in the background really is the icing on the cake.
Implications - The Role Model series is truly awkward in its staged style. Hartig's ability to capture the family in different poses calls to question who exactly is the head of the family. As each member changes spots, the viewer will be inclined to feel that one person in particular is the role model versus the other three.
