Certain objects are quite a success when melded into one, and the Rocking-2-Gether chair is a prime example.
In this case, designer Paul Kweton strove to fuse a doghouse with a regular rocking chair, which has resulted in a unique contemporary object that provides comfort to man and beast alike.
The finished product is made of organically shaped wooden slices that align to form the backrest, seat, the arms, the rounded base and the closed cubby beneath, which acts as an ideal pet bed. Within it, I can picture an old man moving back and forth lightly with a book as his tired dog is seesawed to sleep. The Rocking-2-Gether armchair promotes a cozy coexistence between canine and owner as they relax in the living room.
