This cute little guy is Robovie R3 and he is a humanoid robot. He comes from a happy family of other humanoid bots who are all designed for research and discovery purposes.
Robovie R3 is designed as a good samaritan. He will be doing the every day good deed of helping shoppers with tasks such as holding their bags or helping them find their way. More specifically, Robovie -- or my new name for him, Robi -- will be assisting elderly and handicapped customers. I know what I'm getting Grandma for Mother's Day!
