This Retro Moped Combines an Electric Scooter and a Pedal Bike
Ryan Mischkulnig and Joe Fischer have collaborated to design this retro moped that fuses an electric scooter with a pedal bicycle. Their retro moped is called 'Deus Electric.' The scooter portion of the design was based on the Honda Cub 90, which is essentially a small but powerful motorcycle.
Deus Electirc is infused with pieces of a pedal bicycle that can be seen in the handlebars and the small cushioned seat. The use of a headlight taken from a car also gives the moped an old-school feel.
The bike is small but powerful and uses a long bodied frame to allow the user to feel like they are riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle. It is decorated with classic black and gold paint to complete the vintage look.
