The Renault Master ZE is a Cleaner and Quieter Option for Cities
References: group.renault & digitaltrends
The Renault Master ZE is the newest vehicle to be released by the Parisian auto manufacturer, and the transport van promises a smoother, quieter and cleaner experience than with the original vehicle on which the ZE is based.
Unveiled at the Brussels Auto Show, the Renault Master ZE -- which will only be released in Europe -- is meant as a competitor to the Ford Transit and the Ram ProMaster. Both of those vans offer either partial or complete battery power.
Renault's vehicle carries a 33 kilowatt-hour battery, which provides power for a 57 kilowatt motor. The system should be able to drive for 124 miles on a single charge. Though that distance is too short for long hauling, the van is primarily designed for last mile use in city centers.
