Remedy Entertainment Confirms the Sequel to 'Control' is in Development

A sequel to the supernatural thriller game Control is in development by Remedy Entertainment. Developers behind ‘Control 2’ have tapped publisher 505 Games, the publisher of the original ‘Control,’ to help redesign the game using a bigger budget. The teams are also working cooperatively on a multiplayer spinoff of the franchise which is sure to excite fans of the series. Remedy claims that the sequel, which is still in the "concept stage," will debut on the PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
Game director Mikael Kasurinen commented on the news: “[...] With Control 2, we’ll take another leap into the unknown. It’ll be an unexpected journey. It’ll take a while, but to put it mildly, this is the most exciting project I’ve ever worked on. It’s still early days, but it will be worth the wait.”
