Dos Maderas Debuts the Limited-Edition Origen Thailand

The spirits brand Dos Maderas has introduced a new limited-quantity offering titled Origen Thailand, which constitutes the initial entry in a planned series focused on regional rum varieties.

Origen Thailand is a twelve-year-old spirit distilled from Thai sugarcane. The product was initially matured in bourbon barrels before undergoing an additional six-month finishing period in very old Oloroso sherry casks at a bodega in Spain. Only 4,000 bottles of this regional rum variety are globally available.

With Origen Thailand, Dos Maderas emphasizes a narrative of cross-continental craftsmanship, linking the distinct agricultural base of Southeast Asia with traditional European sherry aging techniques under a proprietary "reverse finishing" method. The packaging incorporates thematic design elements reflecting Thai cultural symbols.
