Burberry Commissioned Artists to Create Red Envelopes

To ring in the Chinese New Year and 2021 as the Year of the Ox, luxury label Burberry commissioned artists to design lucky red envelopes in their own unique styles. The overall theme for the envelopes was "Spring in Your Heart" and it inspired the participating artists to create styles with plenty of blossoming flowers and fresh greenery.
While artists like New York-based illustrator Feifei Ruan created a design with flora and fauna to tap into aspects of spring like melting snow and rain, Oamul Lu created a warm-toned scene of a woman walking past blossom trees decorated with branded lanterns. To express, well-wishes, some of the envelopes even express warm words and include uplifting phrases for the year.
