If the creations from furniture company Woodfish look a little off-kilter, that's because they're crafted from recycled wine barrels for an eco-chic approach to decor. The company is the brainchild of Stephen Fischer who took his hobby to the next level upon retirement from his profession.
The designs from Woodfish range in aesthetic from being relatively simple, to ornate and expansive. Surprisingly, the price points of several of the items in the collection are very reasonable for the elaborate work. Custom designs are able to be created by Fischer upon request.
The recycled wine barrel furniture makes use of something that might otherwise be sent to the landfill to give new life to waste and decrease the carbon footprint associated with furniture.
