Even though I have a fierce contempt for LEGOS, this attractive jewelry collection caught my eyes.
Made by Emiko Oye, these gigantic and fantastic accessories were “inspired by hardware, haute couture and salvaged material,†according to Trend de la Creme.
The beautiful collection is called, “My First Royal Jewels†and the work was just exhibited at the San Fransisco Museum of Crafts and Art.
Implications - The jewelry collection is made entirely out of recycled LEGO blocks and pieces. Emiko Oye was also inspired by the jewelry from Harry Winston, Cartier and Boucheron while creating her fascinating and unique collection. The items are not for sale, but perhaps you could grab a box of old LEGO and try to whip up something yourself!
