Colombian Carrier Pigeons Trained to Smuggle Contraband
The bad guys are at it again. Following reports of animal initiations for the purpose of committing heinous crimes, Colombian officials say they have recently intercepted another attempt.
A carrier pigeon was found by authorities with cell phone parts strapped to its back outside a high security prison in north central Colombia. It is believed that the jailbird was trained to smuggle contraband into the prison.
