Recovery is often ignored in the fitness world, but ReCOVER is hoping to change this idea as it dedicates itself entirely to post-workout and stress recovery. Opened as New York City's first recovery studio, ReCOVER helps members recover from various daily stressors, including muscle fatigue, mental stress, and weight loss demands. To achieve this, the studio uses technology such as TENS/E-stim treatments for sore muscles and NuCalm neuroscience-based relaxation.
Founded by Aaron Drogoszewski and Rick Richey, ReCOVER draws on both men's careers as fitness professionals. New clients to the studio will be worked with closely to determine their specific stressors before any sort of treatment is administered. In addition to recovery, the treatments used by ReCOVER work to optimize performance and even improve weight loss.
