By the looks of his uber interesting and impressive portfolio, Ray Young Chu definitely likes to create oddball paintings. Yet, as odd as some of his works may seem, I can't help but think that there is meaning behind each one. For me, his contrast between junk food and cute animals seems to address society's obsession with both, commenting on how adorable animals and junk food are often the focus of the viral content in today's society.

Based in California, Ray Young Chu grew up in Colorado. It is there that he started to dabble in the world of art with watercolors and oil paints. But it was only after he "got expelled for painting the principal naked having sex on the school wall," according to LifeLounge, that Ray Young Chu knew he "wanted to do art for the rest of (his) life."
