Stepin One 2 by Rafael de Cardenas is a bold art installation that pays homage to the nightclubs of the 80s and 90s. This monumental pavilion "integrates the experiences of retro discos into a custom-fitted gallery space that is presented as a part of MAD's NYC Makers exhibition."

StepinOne 2 by Rafael de Cardenas is made up of four columns that form an altar at the center of a gallery space. "Wrapping the perimeter, succulent plants encased by low lighting join the centralized metal and steel construction to alter the energy of the space."
This sensory installation features blue and purple lighting that evokes a surreal mood that plays with the perception of its visitors. The space will be open to the public on July 1st.
