A few days ago, Trend Hunter published an article about controversial church signs. The 9 signs presented here are not necessarily controversial, although I realize that is, of course, a value judgment.
The signs in the gallery run the gamut from the witty such as “Forbidden fruit creates many jams”, “Come to church, resistance is futile” and my very favorite, “Staying in bed and shouting: Oh God! does not constitute going to church.”
There are also the boneheaded signs such as: “Sign maker on vacation, come inside for message” and the cryptic one whose only message is: “Whatever.”
