In an effort to elevate some of its existing menu items, Taco Bell has begun testing the new Queso Quesarito in Birmingham, Alabama. While the new dish may look familiar, it features an important upgrade that gives the ordinary burrito a whole new flavor profile.
The Queso Quesarito is a quesadilla made from two flour tortillas slathered with creamy queso sauce and shredded cheese. The whole thing is then wrapped up as a burrito and filled with a blend of seasoned rice, seasoned beef, sour cream, and Creamy Chipotle sauce. The new dish is similar to the chain's existing Quesarito, but with queso sauce instead of nacho cheese.
