The Qualcomm Snapdragon X75 has been shown off by the brand as the first modem that offers support for 5G Advanced connectivity to help further enhance the capabilities of 5G networks.
The modem is built to support the aforementioned cellular standard for better coverage, throughput, reliability and traffic handling when compared to existing 5G modems. The chip is also touted as being great for enhancing battery life and even delivering consistent performance in areas where service is harder to acquire like in elevators or subways.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon X75 also handles 5G/4G dual data on two SIM cards at the same time. The modem has been sent out to brands as a sample and is currently positioned as a frontrunner for devices ahead of the 5G Advanced standard launch in 2024.
