There is a staggering amount of textile waste that comes from the hospitality industry, but Westin Hotels and Resorts is doing its part to reduce its environmental footprint with an initiative called Project Rise: ThreadForward.
Project Rise: ThreadForward works with Clean the World in order to clean, process and reweave hotel bed linens so that they can be put to good use as pajama sets for children in need. These pajamas can be purchased online for $25 through Westin Hotels and Resorts, with proceeds donated to the non-profit organization Delivering Good.
The playful sleepwear sets for kids boast a Westin color palette and the image of a child rising to the moon with a book in hand.
