EVGA launched a new series of computer components that attach to graphics processing units (GPUs) titled 'PowerLink.' The PowerLink series is a power supply solution for GPUs that is intended to address the increasingly prevalent issue of transient spikes with GPUs. Transient spikes are very short, millisecond-long spikes in power draw from a GPU that can potentially crash a computer by drawing more power than the card is being supplied.
