The Pour by Design Haus Liberty Brings Order to a Natural Phenomena
Meghan Young — May 27, 2014 — Art & Design
Although a little too ordered to resemble a proper rainfall, the Pour by Design Haus Liberty, a studio based in Notting Hill, United Kingdom, is a stunning chandelier installation that embodies the essence of such natural occurrences. The beauty doesn't necessarily lie in the formation itself, but in the lights themselves.
Currently on display in Tribeca, New York City, the Pour by Design Haus Liberty, which was made up of Dara Huang and Lisa Hinderdael, was meant to "take advantage of the high ceiling space and the industrial nature of the original features within the building," as written on the studio's website. Dripping down in a romantic fashion, the installation will capture people's attention almost immediately. It was created in collaboration with glass blowers and metal fabricators in Suffolk, UK.
