Poundland's 'Poundland Perks' Program Unlocks Exclusive Discounts

UK-based discount store Poundland recently announced the launch a national rewards app, and is the first discount retailer to do so across the region. The 'Poundland Perks' program marks a significant shift for the budget retailer, which is investing £20 million to bring exclusive benefits to its customers. After a successful pilot phase in select regions, the app is now available nationwide and can be downloaded from the Google Play and Apple App stores.

With over 100 unique offers, including deals on well-known brands like Lynx, TRESemmé, and Dove, Poundland aims to add value for its shoppers through discounts and "perks points." During the initial launch, customers can earn double perks points on every purchase, with each pound spent until Christmas generating 100 points. Shoppers can also redeem points for digital vouchers to use in-store or save up for larger purchases.

To boost engagement, the "Poundland Perks Café" activation will be touring across the UK, inviting customers to download the app. The tour begins in Birmingham and concludes in Sheffield’s Meadowhall at the end of this month.
