Mecesoo created a new interpretation of Picasso's Portrait of a Woman in a Hat, imitating the Cubist painting style through the form of LEGOs. The artwork is possibly one of the most joyful ones by the Spanish artist and it captures the radiant sunlight that graces the girl in the painting.
The new brick-based version also imitates the brushstrokes with colorful plastic bricks. The entire set is made from 1070 bricks in total and is about the same size as the original painting for a unique replica. He uses a blend of different LEGO bricks to truly capture the unique and dynamic brushstrokes of the painting, capturing the eyes, lashes, rogue cheeks, outfit, colorful hair, and more.
