The Pop Desk is both a phone and a stand accessory. Essentially, the Pop Phone handset plugs directly into your smartphone's headphone jack, which allows you to hear your conversation; the angled stand is purposed to speak into (you cannot speak directly into the retro handset itself, unfortunately).
