Aiming to replace static and outdated street signs, design agency Breakfast created what it calls “the most advanced sign on Earth” and named it ‘Points.’ Breakfast created the intelligent street sign in order to give you the directional information that you want.
The sign dynamically rotates to present you with the most up-to-date data. Points updates throughout the day to provide you with current event information, the temperature and news. With a panel, the sign allows you to choose between different categories such as food or events.
The sign works by accessing information from Foursquare, Twitter and other sources. That data is then used to present you with places to eat and nearby events to attend.
