The Pod by Greenfingers is an urban agricultural project that utilizes the Dominaero propagation system designed by Fogponics, a name that is also used to describe the innovative process. A system based around aeroponic nutrient delivery technologies developed by NASA and tailored for the agricultural community, it eliminates water-born pathogens, reduces algae growth and uses a 'dry fog' nutrient delivery system to produce the healthiest, largest root system in record time.
By redesigning the planter that results in all of that good stuff, the Pod by Greenfingers, which was founded by four New Zealand industrial design students (Adam Ben-Dror, Nick Johnston, Casey Lin and Robert Skenea) for a school project, will appeal to modern gardeners.
