Vans have teamed up with artist Christie Shinn to create the Plumeria slip-on, a limited edition shoe created exclusively for the Japanese market.
Canadian-born Shinn relocated to Hawaii, which is where she drew her inspiration for these floral sneakers. The shoe features the native plumeria flower, one of the islands' most distinctive. To achieve an authentic Polynesian look, the shoes are outfitted with matching wood-effect insoles.
The vibrant, blossoming sneakers will brighten up any outfit this summer. If you fear drab footwear, look no further than this delicious collaboration. Unfortunately the shoes are only available at the Shibuya and Shinjuku locations of Tokyo retailer Charlotte, so if you are traveling to that neck of the woods, be sure to pick up a pair.
