Designers Jeff Martin and Sam Klemick present the Please Sit for an Alternate Ending exhibition at Objective Gallery. Notably, this is the gallery's first duo exhibition and it highlights a series of functional objects that push boundaries in the industry. It is set to open its doors on August 18th and will be running until September 29th. It showcases the designers' keen use of materials and offers an alternative design solution that is not the landfill.
Jeff Martin's Sarcophagus series is a notable part of the show -- he speaks about it, stating that “Treasure chests, tombs, urns, bank vaults, shipping containers. Sarcophagus. As a species we seem to think we are owners of things, land, and property. The Sarcophagus series is built in the same spirit, but encourages you to realize your duty as a custodian of few, a precious talisman which shifts your viewfinder of life."
