Earlier this year, Piet Hein Eek released a collection of kitchenware with modern households in mind. Although incredibly practical, the designs are also chic and minimal, ensuring that they add to the overall aesthetic of a living space rather than take away from it. Comprised of mugs, jugs, plates and even a candle holder, Piet Hein Eek didn't hold back when it came to this stunning collection.
Dubbed the FAT Ceramic Collection, Piet Hein Eek's designs were presented at Home in London, England. The industrial designer worked closely with Fair Trade Original to create the kitchenware. There was a distinct focus on craftsmanship as well. Piet Hein Eek says, “Working with the Thai and Vietnamese craftsman is a great experience. I also like designing products that require a lot of handwork.”
