Tile designer Dominic Crinson and miniature toy designer Brenna Jensen have created a photo studio that only takes seconds to set up. Photographers no longer have to set up expensive back drops, lighting, tripods and cameras to capture products for a company.
The designer duo created this portable photo studio, 'The Light Case,' because they found themselves prohibited by the expensive cost of professional studio work. The studio is made of a frosted polypropylene plastic that diffuses light to create top-quality images.
To use the Kickstarter product, one must simply place their object inside the box and photograph it with their smartphone from above by lining up the lens with the camera hole. Photographers can also take snaps from the front of the box to achieve an infinite background look.
